Breakfast is complimentary to your stay and served daily. With no set menu, Mariby "cooks up some love." When asked, "what's for breakfast?" often she will say, "it really just depends on whatever feels good to my soul" (India Arie), and except for our Sundays' Best, breakfast items vary, so let us know of allergies and dietary restrictions - accommodated only with advanced notice.
Breakfast Experience
Remember Sunday Morning Breakfast, when you were growing up? The whole family anxiously awaited mom to yell, "Breakfast is ready! Come on, get up!" You'd been savoring the aromas of bacon, biscuits, home fries and fresh ground coffee for what seems too long for your growling stomach, and now it's time! You climb out of bed and race to grab your seat at the table (or you might have to sit on the milk crate), while you anxiously await turn for your Sunday portion. Outright hunger and the smell of Mom's good cooking is what brought you to the table, but oh, the conversations, the laughter, the memories of good times together - that's what kept you at the table for what seemed hours after!
Breakfast
That's The MadlyLiving Weekend Experience and why breakfast time is amongst our favorite of MadlyLiving Moments with you. Because we encourage sleeping in and a calm awakening, on Saturday and Sunday mornings, breakfast is served later - at 10:00am. You will enjoy a Full Southern Sit Down in the formal dining room. Breakfast items are made from scratch with fresh, wholesome, especially-selected and family-tested down-home ingredients, complete with MadlyLiving’s Infamous Buttermilk Biscuits (served with much love, hot out of the oven).
On weekdays and for breakfast meetings, served at 9:00am, our guests prefer a lighter fare - generally consisting of an assortment of fresh-baked goods - bagels, muffins, croissants and pastries from our local bakery, a fresh-made fruit salad, and beverage compliments of coffee, teas, orange and cranberry juices. Of course, eggs, hot and cold cereals, yogurt, etc. are available with advance notice.
First Sunday Brunch - Cuisine & Conversation
MadlyLiving Presents, Cuisine & Conversation - An Every First Sunday Brunch Affair. On the First Sunday each month at 10:30am, please join us for a Full Southern Sit Down Breakfast, prepared by Mariby with a lot of life and lots of love and uniquely complimented with enlightening, entertaining, sometimes debatable, though real-life relatable conversations at the dining table. Laughter included!
$25/person (and up) + taxes (nonrefundable) - Advanced Registration Required; Menu Varies; Space is Limited; Reserve Early! Note that First Sunday Brunch is Complimentary with overnight stay. At the time of registration, please also confirm allergies and/or dietary restrictions.
